Call for Abstracts

The ASDP 2025 Mumbai Scientific Committee invites you to submit your research for the 2nd annual congress of the Asian Society of Digital Pathology in Mumbai, India, from October 10-12, 2025. The theme is "Pixels to Practice: Advancing Digital Pathology in Asia." This in-person meeting will foster the exchange of ideas and experiences in computational pathology. We look forward to receiving online abstracts for oral or poster presentations.

  • Start of abstract submission: February 25, 2025
  • Deadline for abstract submission: April 15, 2025
  • Notification of abstract acceptance: April 30, 2025

Abstract submissions should provide a clear and concise description of the title and topic. All abstracts will undergo evaluation by the scientific committee through a peer-reviewed, double-blinded process. The assessment criteria for abstracts will include relevance to the ASDP mission, quality of English usage, objectivity of statements, clarity in describing the conducted work, appropriateness of methods relative to the stated aims, conclusions supported by objective results, adherence to ethical standards, scientific value, potential clinical significance, originality, and overall quality.
The committee's decision on the selection of abstracts for presentation is final.
Please note that selected abstracts can only be presented on-site, not virtually! Please ensure that you are able to travel to Mumbai when submitting an abstract. This also applies for abstracts which are being accepted as E-Posters. All accepted abstracts will be published in an abstract book in digital format and online on the congress website.
There will be no printed version of the abstract book.

  • Digital Pathology - Clinical Studies, Business Case, Workflow Management, Applications vs. Education, Telepathology, Digital Cytology, Quality Assurance, etc.
  • Imaging Solutions / Workflow / Interoperability - Scanners, Image Formats, Software
  • Computational Pathology - Machine Learning / Deep Learning-based Algorithm Development, Clinical / Validation Studies, Prognostic & Predictive Models
  • Newer Technologies - Generative AI / Multimodal Data / Multiplexing / Spatial Biology / 3D Imaging
  • Ethics / Regulatory Aspects
  • Any Other Focus Area
