Call for travel grant applications for ASDP 2025

We are pleased to announce the ASDP 2025 Mumbai Congress Travel Grants in support of exceptional early-career professionals in the field of Digital and Computational Pathology. As part of our mission to empower emerging voices, bright minds and advance global collaboration, ASDP will award travel grants to select applicants who wish to attend the 2nd Annual Congress in Mumbai, India.

Eligibility Criteria:

• The applicant must be a member of ASDP.
• Applicants must be the first author of an abstract accepted for oral or poster presentation at ASDP 2025.
• Applicants should be early-career professionals, including pathologists, technologists, researchers, and computer scientists, working in the field of digital pathology or related disciplines.
• Preference will be given to applicants.
  • Under the age of 35 as of October 10, 2025
  • Pathologist-in-Training (resident, fellow, or postgraduate student)
  • Low/Middle-income countries
• Applicants must be registered for the ASDP 2025 Mumbai conference and attend the Annual Meeting in person.

Application Process:

To apply, please send an email to office@asdp2025mumbai.org with the following:

• Your updated CV
• A brief statement of purpose (max 300 words) describing your interest in digital pathology and how attending ASDP 2025 will support your career development
• A letter of support from your supervisor or department head outlining the benefit of your attendance
• A copy of the abstract submission

Grant Details:

• $1,000 USD for International delegates
• $500 USD for Indian delegates

Important Dates:

• Application Deadline: May 10, 2025
• Notification of Awardees: May 20, 2025

Expenses Covered:

The travel grant may be used toward:

• Economy airfare or ground transportation to Mumbai
• Lodging during the conference
• Visa application fees (if applicable)
  Meals and personal expenses are not covered.

Award allocations: The winners will be announced and awarded during the ASDP 2025 congress award ceremony.
Proof of attendance at ASDP2025 and receipt of the expenses mentioned above must be submitted to the congress secretariat.
